How Does It Work?
•Circles uses videos, discussion, supplemental activities and verbal instruction to the concept of social circles is understood. This is a small group workshop style with child and youth friendly activities. •The program teaches kids to match the social role with the circle, and how to model their behaviour so its appropriate for each circle. Also teaches kids what other people in each circles appropriate behaviour should be. •Circles is not a one time teaching moment, it gives tools, language, visual imagery to facilitate ongoing discussion in your family. It also builds students confidence to know how they and others should be behaving in social situations.
There will be two groups 8-12; and 13 and up.
